As a Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in taking our products from concept to production, forging strong connections between our clients, supply chain, and our dedicated team.
Key
Responsibilities:
Mastermind New Product Launches:
Be the go-to expert for customer interactions and Paragon collaborations, representing us in negotiations and ensuring seamless product design and production transitions.
Costing and Planning:
Take charge of the quoting process, from outlining procedures to calculating costs, all while overseeing project requirement checklists.
Project Leadership:
Own the project's planning and execution timeline, manage team workload, and maintain a sharp focus on scope and activities.
Engineering Excellence:
Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) discussions both with the client and internally, overseeing Device Master Record (DMR) development and ensuring precision in the process.
Risk Management:
Support pFMEA development, manage risk mitigation activities, and lead testing efforts to ensure a smooth product introduction.
Metrics and Reporting:
Keep tabs on project performance metrics, from pre-production meetings to successful product transfers.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams with finesse, making sure all projects are completed successfully.
Client Engagement:
Travel for customer support and partner with our Business Development team to explore new program opportunities.
Relationship Building:
Cultivate productive relationships with cross-functional counterparts, ensuring a harmonious work environment.
Project Management Excellence:
Implement Project Management Group methodologies for the site and actively share best practices within the team.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Biomedical) or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
You should have a minimum of three years of experience in NPI projects and project management, preferably within medical device manufacturing.
Technical Proficiency:
Demonstrated use of project management tools, and familiarity with tight tolerance methods, ISO standards, and FDA regulations.
Leadership Skills:
Previous experience in a leadership role is strongly preferred.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable with Windows-based computer systems.
Industry Knowledge:
Knowledge of DFM principles, ISO 13485, US QSR 21 CFR, and basic human anatomy is a plus.
Materials Expertise:
Familiarity with various metal and polymer materials and testing specifications is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Organization:
Exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a self-driven attitude are essential.
Communication:
Strong oral, written, and presentation skills are a must.
Multitasking:
The ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously is key.
